Dina Dwyer-Owens Appears in Global Franchising Magazine

The Dwyer Group Founder and now co-chairwoman of the company, Dina Dwyer-Owens spoke to Global Franchise Magazine and took part in a Q&A session.

She spoke about her reasons for being a part of a franchising company, saying that “After witnessing the incredible transformations that franchise ownership had on those who joined our service brands, I was passionate to be a part of it.” She also talks about how she championed the strong Code of Values that The Dwyer Group works around, and how Respect, Integrity, Customer focus and Having fun in the process play a massive part in the working of the company, encouraging everyone to Live R.I.C.H.

She also spoke about her time on Undercover Boss and how working alongside the service professionals working for the franchises was a valuable experience and that “It validated the importance of constant communication with our franchise network to support our culture and our Code of Values.”

This time on Undercover Boss also highlighted to Dina the need to help more women into the trade industry and reaffirmed her instincts to launch the Women in the Trades initiative. She said that “Women in the Trades is an educational and informational outreach program to tell more women about the opportunities that exist within the service trades, from front-line service professional all the way to the franchise owner.”
